“universal” is a privately owned, independent and fully owned engineering company based in Port Said, Egypt since 1981, has a long experience with timber vessels, general cargo vessels, yacht design, floating hotels, heavy lift vessels, offshore petroleum service vessels, Suez Canal transit, surveys and special operations.
In addition, we are also ship chandlers, freight forwarders and accepted criteria in the fields of Procurement and Supply of marine and ships equipment and spare parts.

CEB has been providing detailed design and construction services for four tankers in Damietta, Egypt. these tankers were completely designed by CEB teams and manufactured under CEB supervision and transfer to Maldives to deploy.
SAFIRA PROJECT
Welcome aboard Safira, the sapphire of Maldives. The name Safira is a direct translation of the gem stone sapphire in Portuguese. Safira is a 43.3m luxury yacht based currently in Maldives.
Safira was designed by Swiss architects with minimalism at its core, Safira was built in Egypt. Major renovations and changes were made to the internal workings of the yacht in order to cater to the climate and conditions of Maldives. The final result of which can be seen today. Safira offers generous accommodations for 26 guests when in Maldives. She accommodates 12 guests when on international charters.
